If illegals aren’t working jobs Americans would do, why the most unemp, where there are most illegals?

How can they deny the fact that they are taking jobs Americans want and need?
Do these pro-illegals honestly believe that Americans will not do construction?
Why doesn’t pro-illegals post about the bogus statements made by Reid but will against anyone who doesn’t support the criminal actions of illegal aliens?

A few months ago, Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) said publicly that the claim that illegal aliens are working construction jobs in Nevada (17 percent of those jobs) is “absolutely without foundation.”

However, on Tuesday, The Pew Hispanic Center released a report which shows that illegal aliens make up 10 percent of Nevada’s workforce. That is up from 2009, when illegal aliens accounted for 9.4 percent of those working in the state.

It is no coincidence that Nevada also has the nation’s highest rate of unemployment. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the state’s unemployment rate is now 14.5 percent.

Of course, Nevada is not the only state in which U.S. workers are being replaced illegal aliens.

In 2007, the Fiscal Policy Institute released a study revealing that there were 374,000 illegal aliens employed in New York City, accounting for 10 percent of the city’s total workforce.

The study also concluded that illegal aliens in New York have a labor force participation rate of 70 percent—higher than that of citizens and legal residents as well.

A 2010 study by the Pew Hispanic Center found that while every demographic of native-born workers has lost millions of jobs during this deep recession, foreign-born workers have actually increased their employment numbers.

Since June 2009, immigrants (including illegal aliens) have gained 656,000 jobs, while U.S. born workers lost 1.2 million jobs during that same period.

The Pew study found that 57 percent of those that they refer to as “immigrant” workers, were actually non-citizens.

WASHINGTON — Despite the Obama administration’s efforts to create jobs making wind turbines in America, some companies say that sluggish demand for wind energy is holding them back.

Why do we continously hear that illegals aren’t taking jobs from Americans?

Yet, we also see many articles where illegals have jobs in which an American could have been working in places that chose to hire illegals instead.

For instance:

Federal and local law enforcement agents raided several warehouses Wednesday at O’Hare International Airport and arrested 24 workers who were allegedly in the country illegally and using phony security badges for jobs on the tarmac, cargo areas and other restricted zones.

Federal immigration authorities arrested nine people linked to IFCO Systems and rounded up more than 1,000 illegal immigrants in multistate raids, federal law enforcement officials said.

250 people arrested in an October 23 federal immigration crackdown at 60 Wal-Mart stores in 21 states.

Nearly 40 illegal immigrants hired by contractors working on three military bases in Georgia, Virginia and Nevada were arrested over the last three days by ICE.

Federal authorities arrested 55 illegal immigrants yesterday at a construction site on Dulles
